Support
Write to pili-support@anito.dev and you’ll hear back from Jay, who makes Pili. It helps to say which iPhone and iOS version you have, and what you were doing when something went wrong.
Where are the photos I deleted?
In the Photos app, in Recently Deleted, for 30 days. You can recover them from there. After 30 days iOS removes them for good.
Does Pili delete anything on its own?
No. Photos you don’t keep wait in Ready to delete. They’re deleted only when you open Ready to delete, delete them there and confirm iOS’s own prompt.
Does “Kept” change anything in Photos?
No. Kept means kept in Pili: it records your choice there. It doesn’t favorite, move or edit the photo in Photos.
How do I restore my purchase?
On home, open Your choices (the button at the top right), then tap Restore Purchases under More. It works on any iPhone signed in to the same Apple Account, and for family members through Family Sharing.
What counts as a review?
Your first 50 reviews are free. A set of similar photos you finish with Keep or Delete counts as one review, and so does each screenshot, video or photo you keep or delete one by one. Leaving something for later doesn’t count, and undoing a choice gives the review back.
What happens when the free reviews run out?
Nothing is taken away. The photos you kept, left for later or chose to delete stay where they are, and you can still review and delete the ones in Ready to delete. Only new reviews wait for the purchase.
How do I get a refund?
Purchases go through Apple, so refunds do too. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Pili only sees some of my photos.
You may have given it access to selected photos only. To change that, open Settings on your iPhone, go to Apps, then Pili, then Photos, and choose Full Access.
Why hasn’t Pili found any sets yet?
The first time, Pili looks through your whole library, newest photos first, and offers a set once every photo in its moment has been looked at. A large library can take a while; the bar on home shows how far it has got. If you tap Keep looking when I leave, it carries on after you leave Pili, and it also looks while your iPhone is charging, when iOS allows.
Does Pili need the internet?
Only to buy or restore the purchase through the App Store. Everything else happens on your iPhone.
What does Pili need?
An iPhone with iOS 26 or later.
